National Influenza Centres (NICs) and other national influenza laboratories from 120 countries, areas or territories reported data to FluNet for the time period from 15 April 2019 to 28 April 2019 a(data as of 2019-05-10 04:05:29 UTC). The WHO GISRS laboratories tested more than 78989 specimens during that time period. 11262 were positive for influenza viruses, of which 6777 (60.2%) were typed as influenza A and 4485 (39.8%) as influenza B.
